Carlsson Out Friday with Lower-Body Injury; Ducks' Playoff Hopes Dim

Leo Carlsson (lower body) is confirmed out for Friday's game against the Stars, further thinning the Anaheim Ducks' forward group which also sees Troy Terry (upper body) and Cutter Gauthier (illness) sidelined. His availability for Friday's game versus the Kings remains uncertain, following a previous lower-body injury absence in late December. This comes as the Ducks, despite a promising start, are struggling and find themselves on the periphery of the playoff picture, with increased pressure on key players like Carlsson to reverse the team's fortunes.
