Blackhawks' Bedard Sidelined by Flu for Oilers Game

Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Edmonton Oilers due to illness, identified as the flu by Elliotte Friedman. This comes shortly after Bedard's return from a 12-game shoulder injury absence, during which he recorded two assists (one on the power play), seven shots, and a plus-1 rating across two contests. Colton Dach, Sam Lafferty, and Jason Dickinson (top line center) are candidates to fill his spot. Chicago's next game is Thursday against Calgary.
