Anze Kopitar Placed on Injured Reserve with Lower Body Injury

Anze Kopitar (lower body) has been officially placed on injured reserve by the Kings. He will miss his third consecutive game against Edmonton on Saturday and will also be ineligible to play against Dallas on Monday. The timeline for his return remains unclear. In 37 appearances this season, Kopitar has recorded six goals, 21 points, 49 shots on net, 34 blocked shots, and 19 hits. This move corresponds with the activation of Corey Perry from non-roster status.
