Demko Exits Maple Leafs Game with Lower-Body Injury

Vancouver Canucks goalie Thatcher Demko, confirmed to start Saturday against Toronto despite a recent 0-4-1 stretch, exited the game with a lower-body injury. He will be evaluated, and given his history of lower-body issues, he is considered doubtful for upcoming games. Demko allowed three goals on six shots before his exit. This season, he holds an 8-9-1 record with a 2.79 GAA and .900 save percentage across 19 appearances.
