Sabres' Alex Lyon Placed on Injured Reserve with Lower-Body Injury

Alex Lyon (lower body) has been moved to injured reserve by the Buffalo Sabres as of Tuesday. He will miss his third consecutive game against Vancouver after sustaining the injury in a 4-2 win over St. Louis on December 29. While considered day-to-day, his return timeline remains unclear. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is expected to handle most starts during Lyon's absence, with Colten Ellis serving as backup.
