Canucks Hire Veteran Jack Johnson as Pro-Scout, Reuniting with Rutherford
The Vancouver Canucks have hired 19-year NHL veteran Jack Johnson as a pro-scout. Johnson, who recorded 77 goals and 265 assists in 1228 NHL games and won a Stanley Cup with the Avalanche, concluded his playing career in 2024-25. He has a notable connection to Canucks POHO Jim Rutherford, who drafted him in 2005, traded him in 2006, and signed him again in 2018 with the Penguins.
