Sourdif Records Rookie Hat Trick, Five Points in Capitals Win

Justin Sourdif, 23, delivered a standout performance, posting five points and recording a hat trick for the Washington Capitals. This achievement marks him as the first Capitals rookie since Alex Ovechkin in 2006 to score a hat trick. Sourdif's dominant night helped the short-handed Capitals secure a 7-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Monday, successfully ending their two-game losing streak. His five-point outing was crucial for the team's turnaround.
