Aliaksei Protas Out Monday with Lower-Body Injury

Aliaksei Protas (lower body) is not in the lineup for Monday's home game against Anaheim, marking his second consecutive missed contest. The Washington Capitals forward was initially a game-time decision but will remain sidelined. His absence, along with Tom Wilson's, forces the Capitals to dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Protas' next opportunity to return to action will be Wednesday at home versus Dallas.
