Colten Ellis Activated from IR, Set to Backup Luukkonen Wednesday

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Colten Ellis has been activated off injured reserve ahead of Wednesday's road game against Dallas, marking his return from a concussion that has kept him out since December 9. Ellis, who holds a 4-3-0 record with a 3.25 GAA and an .895 save percentage in eight appearances this season, will serve as Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen's understudy. His return comes as Alex Lyon (lower body) is unavailable for the game.
