Schmid to Start Wednesday After Hart's Struggles; Stopped 15 Shots in Relief

Akira Schmid is scheduled to start Wednesday's home game against the Predators, per Danny Webster. This decision comes after teammate Carter Hart was pulled from Monday's loss to the Wild, allowing five goals on 12 shots. Schmid replaced Hart in that game, stopping all 15 shots he faced. After losing playing time recently, Schmid gets another opportunity as the Vegas Golden Knights look to rebound against a formidable Predators opponent who have won four of their last five games.
