Frank Nazar Placed on Injured Reserve by Blackhawks

Chicago Blackhawks center Frank Nazar, described as a "burgeoning star," has been placed on injured reserve. The move was made prior to Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins and is retroactive to December 20. This roster change coincided with the activation of captain Nick Foligno from injured reserve.
