Mason Marchment Traded to Blue Jackets; Kraken Receive Two Second-Round Picks

Winger Mason Marchment has been traded by the Seattle Kraken to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for two second-round picks. Marchment recorded 13 points in 29 appearances during his brief stint with the Kraken, who had acquired him from the Stars in June. In Columbus, he is expected to take on a middle-six role and power-play time, though he is projected to be a streaky scorer. It remains unclear if he will be in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Ducks.
