DeBrincat Hits 20 Goals, Leads Red Wings to Victory

Alex DeBrincat powered the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 victory over the Islanders with two crucial third-period power-play goals, including the game-winner and his 20th of the season. He's the first Red Wing to reach 20 goals this year, on pace for 40, and leads the team with 9 power-play tallies. This performance extends his streak to 8 goals and 13 points in his last 8 games. DeBrincat's competitiveness and scoring ability are praised by coach Todd McLellan, making him the fastest Red Wing to 20 goals since 2007-08.
