Senators' Chabot Nearing Return From Upper-Body Injury, Skating Well

Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot (upper body) is skating and nearing a return to the lineup, according to head coach Travis Green. Chabot has been sidelined since November 22 but is trending toward playing this week, with potential return dates against the Penguins on Thursday or the Blackhawks on Saturday. The left-shot blueliner is expected to slot back into a second-pairing role upon his return.
