Mammoth's Cooley Shifts to IR with Lower-Body Injury, Out 8 Weeks

Utah Mammoth C Logan Cooley (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, per the NHL media site. He has been out since Dec. 5 against Vancouver and will be sidelined for a minimum of eight weeks. Cooley has amassed 14 goals, 23 points, 59 shots on net, and 34 hits through 29 appearances this season before his injury.
