Spencer Stastney Traded to Oilers for 2027 Third-Round Pick

Defenseman Spencer Stastney has been traded from the Nashville Predators to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a 2027 third-round draft pick. Stastney, who has played 81 career NHL games with the Predators, recorded nine points and 10 penalty minutes in 30 games this season, his first as a regular in Nashville. The Oilers acquired him to add defensive depth.
