Pettersson Out for Third Straight Game with Upper-Body Injury

Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson (upper body) will miss his third consecutive game, sitting out Thursday's matchup against Buffalo. Pettersson, who has eight goals and 22 points in 28 appearances this season, was considered doubtful for the game. Despite his absence, he is expected to travel with the Canucks on their upcoming five-game road trip, indicating a potential return as early as Sunday's game in New Jersey.
