Darcy Kuemper Shuts Out Blackhawks, Snaps Three-Game Skid

Darcy Kuemper rebounded strongly, stopping all 23 shots he faced to secure his second shutout of the season in Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Blackhawks. This performance snapped a three-game skid where he had allowed eight goals on 91 shots during an 0-2-1 stretch. Through 20 starts this year, Kuemper now holds a 9-6-5 record with a 2.24 GAA and a .914 save percentage. The 35-year-old netminder, who has started four consecutive games only once this season, may get another opportunity to do so Monday in Utah.
