Thatcher Demko Targeting Return Next Week from Lower Body Injury

Thatcher Demko (lower body) is targeting a return for next Thursday's home game against Buffalo, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650. The Vancouver Canucks' netminder is expected to miss the team's next three games before that potential matchup. While Demko remains on injured reserve, Kevin Lankinen will continue as the starter, with Nikita Tolopilo as the backup. Demko holds a 5-4-0 record with a 2.80 GAA and a .903 save percentage across 10 appearances this season.
