Kirill Marchenko Nears Return, Game-Time Call for Thursday vs. Detroit

Columbus Blue Jackets winger Kirill Marchenko (knee) is a game-time decision for Thursday's matchup against Detroit, with his status to be determined closer to puck drop, Jeff Svoboda reports. Marchenko appears poised for a return after missing four games due to his knee injury, though he has not yet received official clearance. Before his absence, he struggled to score, going goalless in his last eight outings, but contributed six assists, including three on the power play, during that period.
