Ersson to Start Wednesday vs. Sabres Despite Underwhelming Stats

Samuel Ersson is confirmed to start Wednesday's home game against the Sabres, according to Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia. The 26-year-old Flyers goalie has given up three or more goals in six of his eight outings this year, posting a 4-2-2 record, a 3.09 GAA, and an .859 save percentage. He will be making his third appearance in the Flyers' last seven games despite his underwhelming numbers.
