Monahan Nets Two Goals, Game-Winner in Blue Jackets Victory

Sean Monahan scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 5-3 victory over the Devils on Monday. The veteran center tied the score at 2-2 early in the second period and later gave the Blue Jackets a 4-2 lead midway through the third. This marked Monahan's first multi-point performance of the campaign, and three of his five goals this season have come in his last two contests, signaling a potential breakout from an early-season slump.
