Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo Placed on Non-Roster List for Personal Reasons

Nikita Tolopilo (personal) was given non-roster status by the Vancouver Canucks on Monday. In a corresponding move, the team recalled Jiri Patera from AHL Abbotsford under emergency conditions. It remains unclear when Tolopilo will be available to return to the lineup. With Thatcher Demko (lower body) also unavailable, Patera is expected to back up Kevin Lankinen in Tuesday's road game against Colorado.
