MacKinnon Misses Practice Due to Illness, Triple Crown Bid Continues

Nathan MacKinnon was absent from Monday's practice, sidelined by illness, having battled symptoms since Saturday. Despite feeling unwell, he remarkably recorded a three-point performance in Colorado's 7-2 victory over Montreal. MacKinnon currently leads the NHL with 20 goals and 44 points, and his 24 assists rank second, placing him in contention for the rare "Triple Crown." The Avalanche hope for his recovery for Tuesday's game.
