Ellis to Start Against Hot Wild; Returns After Four-Game Absence

Colten Ellis will protect the road goal versus the Wild on Saturday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic. This marks his return after not playing in the last four games, following a start where he allowed six goals on 35 shots to the Flames. The Buffalo Sabres' three-man goalie situation continues to complicate roles. Ellis faces a tough test against the Wild, who have won seven straight games, including three shutout victories, presenting a significant challenge for the netminder.
