Nikita Tolopilo to Start for Canucks Against Ducks Amid Goalie Injuries

Nikita Tolopilo is slated to make his first start for the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News. This opportunity arises as the Canucks are without Kevin Lankinen (personal) and Thatcher Demko (lower body). Tolopilo has yet to play for Vancouver this season, having posted a 3.35 GAA and a .901 save percentage in five appearances with AHL Abbotsford in 2025-26. He faces a challenging opponent in the Ducks, who are 14-7-1 and rank second in goals per game with 3.59.
