Islanders' Boqvist Secures Roster Spot Amidst Romanov's Injury

New York Islanders defenseman Adam Boqvist has solidified his spot in the lineup, playing in the last five games with an average of 13:50 minutes. This comes as Alexander Romanov is sidelined for five to six months due to right shoulder surgery. Boqvist, who previously served as the seventh defenseman, appears to have won the role for now, stepping up to fill the void left by Romanov's long-term absence.
