Thompson to Start Monday Amidst Recent Struggles

Logan Thompson will be in goal for the Washington Capitals' home clash with Columbus on Monday, confirmed by Sammi Silber. Thompson has struggled recently, allowing four or more goals in three of his last four outings, resulting in a 1-2-1 record, 4.44 GAA, and .840 save percentage. Continued struggles could lead to more opportunities for Charlie Lindgren.
