Merzlikins to Start Monday vs. High-Scoring Capitals

Elvis Merzlikins will defend the road crease for the Columbus Blue Jackets against Washington on Monday, as reported by Jeff Svoboda. Despite limited recent playing time, starting only once in the last eight games, Merzlikins gets a chance against the Capitals, who rank seventh in the league with 3.23 goals per game this season.
