Avalanche's Gavin Brindley Out Week-to-Week with Lower-Body Injury

Colorado Avalanche phenom Gavin Brindley has been ruled out week-to-week with a lower-body injury and will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks. He left Thursday's 6-3 victory over the New York Rangers in the first period after an awkward board collision, attempting a brief return before retreating. This is Brindley's second significant setback this season, having previously missed time due to a concussion on October 31. The 21-year-old has recorded seven points (four goals, three assists) in 18 games this season, prompting the recall of Jason Polin from the AHL.
