Evgeni Malkin Scores Sixth Power Play Goal as Penguins Fall in OT

Evgeni Malkin scored his sixth goal of the season on the power play, burying loose change at the net front to give the Pittsburgh Penguins a 2-1 lead in the third period against the Seattle Kraken. His crucial tally came after a disappointing effort the previous night. Despite Malkin's effort, the Penguins could not hold on to their lead and ultimately lost the game in overtime, falling out of playoff contention.
