Vilardi Scores Twice, Including Power-Play Goal, in Jets' Loss

Gabriel Vilardi scored two goals, including a power-play marker, and added four shots on net with two PIM in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes. This performance follows a seven-game stretch where he had only one goal and no assists. Despite a recent offensive dip costing him his top power-play unit spot, Vilardi remains on the first line at even strength. He now has eight goals, 16 points (six on the power play), 49 shots, and a minus-2 rating through 20 games this season.
