Mark Scheifele Delivers Three Assists in Jets' Victory

Mark Scheifele notched three assists and a plus-2 rating in the Winnipeg Jets' recent 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets. The 31-year-old forward has been a consistent performer, recording at least 60 points in each of his last nine campaigns. Last season, Scheifele supplied 25 goals and 72 points across 74 games, building on a 2022-23 season where he posted 42 goals and 26 assists in 81 games. With Pierre-Luc Dubois' departure, Scheifele is the unquestioned No. 1 center in Winnipeg, commanding significant ice time and power-play opportunities. He has exceeded 30 goals three times and topped 80 points twice in his career. The 2023-24 campaign is pivotal for Scheifele, who is in his contract year and looking to secure a significant deal in his early 30s.
