Flyers Must Prioritize Young Talent Development, Including Michkov and Bump

The Philadelphia Flyers face a critical juncture in developing their young prospects, including Matvei Michkov and Alex Bump. Coach Rick Tocchet has been hesitant to fully integrate youth, leading to concerns about players like Nikita Grebenkin and Michkov playing limited minutes. Bump, with 13 points in 15 AHL games, is showing offensive promise and could be a top-nine option, but the team must ensure he receives adequate ice time. The Flyers need to establish a clear plan for their prospects to avoid them fading into obscurity, especially as they rank seventh-worst in the NHL in goals scored.
