Maxim Shabanov to Debut Alongside Mathew Barzal for Islanders vs. Stars

Maxim Shabanov will start on the top line alongside Mathew Barzal and Jonathan Drouin for the New York Islanders' game against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night. Shabanov returned from a 12-game absence due to an upper-body injury on Sunday and impressed coach Patrick Roy with his play, not shying away from contact. If Simon Holmstrom is unable to play due to illness, Maxim Tsyplakov is expected to draw back into the lineup, likely playing on the fourth line with Casey Cizikas and Calum Ritchie.
