Carl Lindbom to Start in Goal for Golden Knights Against Minnesota Wild

Carl Lindbom will serve as the starting goaltender for the Vegas Golden Knights in Sunday's road game against the Minnesota Wild. The 22-year-old has been splitting time in net with Akira Schmid while Adin Hill is sidelined with a lower-body injury. Lindbom is still seeking his first win of the season, currently holding an 0-3-1 record with a 3.29 GAA and an .869 save percentage. This start marks the second half of a back-to-back set for the Golden Knights. He will face a relatively favorable matchup against the Wild, who are currently scoring just 2.74 goals per game, ranking them seventh-worst in the league. Lindbom signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Golden Knights in June of 2023.
