Jakub Dobes Set to Start Monday for Canadiens, Seeking to Rebound

Jakub Dobes is slated to start in goal for the Montreal Canadiens on Monday against the Blue Jackets. The 24-year-old goaltender will be looking to rebound after being pulled from his last start against the Stars, where he allowed five goals on just 13 shots. Dobes aims to rediscover his early-season form, having allowed two goals or fewer in each of his first four starts before giving up three or more in every subsequent outing. He currently holds a 6-1-1 record with a 2.70 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage heading into Monday's game. Dobes signed a two-year, $1.93 million contract with the Canadiens in July 2025.
