Brayden McNabb to Make Golden Knights History with 600 Games Played

Brayden McNabb, an original Golden Knight, is set to become the first player in franchise history to skate in 600 games for the team, marking his 838th career NHL appearance. The 34-year-old defenseman, known for his unwavering work ethic from his Saskatchewan farm upbringing, is a crucial leader and assistant captain. McNabb currently leads the NHL with 51 blocked shots through 15 games this season and is the Golden Knights' all-time blocked shots leader with 1,326 since 2017-18, leading all NHL skaters by over 40. He also maintains an ironman streak of 275 consecutive games, crediting his strict routine and health focus. Teammates Reilly Smith and Jack Eichel praise him as a "pillar in the organization" and a calming, essential presence. McNabb also ranks seventh among defensemen with 1,944 hits since 2011 and credits his wife, Lelanie, for supporting his career and family life with their son, Laken.
