Calum Ritchie Prepares for First Islanders-Rangers Rivalry Game with Brother in Attendance
New York Islanders rookie Calum Ritchie is set to experience his first Islanders-Rangers game at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, a special occasion as his brother, Ethan Ritchie, will watch him play in the NHL for the first time. Calum has had a whirlwind week, recently being demoted to the fourth line during Friday's 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild after starting the season as the second-line center. Despite no points in his first four games, his defense has been noted. His brother, a 23-year-old defenseman, traveled from Halifax after his school game was canceled. Their parents will also be present for the 7 PM ET puck drop.
