Evander Kane Rebounds with Recent Goal Surge, Solidifying Top-Six Role for Canucks

Evander Kane has recently found his form for the Vancouver Canucks, emerging as a fantasy hockey waiver wire pick after an inconsistent start to the season. All three of his goals have come in his last two appearances, highlighted by a significant 10 shots on net against Chicago on Wednesday. Kane is currently positioned within the Canucks' top-six forward group and also contributes on their backup power play unit. His overall stat line includes 44 shots on goal, 31 hits, and 28 penalty minutes. Fantasy analysts suggest Kane will continue to be productive as long as he maintains his shot volume and remains in a prominent role on the depth chart.
