Patrick Kane Returns to Red Wings Lineup Following Upper-Body Injury
Former Blackhawks star Patrick Kane is set to return to the Detroit Red Wings lineup on November 7 against the New York Rangers, after missing the last nine games due to an upper-body injury. Kane had a strong start to the 2025-26 season, recording two goals, three assists, and five points in his first five games with the Red Wings. His return is crucial for the Atlantic Division club, as he is an important part of their forward group and is expected to help maintain their good start to the season. The Red Wings are also scheduled to face Kane's former team, the Chicago Blackhawks, on November 9. During his 16 seasons with the Blackhawks, Kane amassed 1,225 points (446 goals, 779 assists) in 1,161 games and won three Stanley Cups, adding 132 points in 136 playoff games.
