Pavel Zacha Trade Rumors Cool as Boston Bruins' Performance Improves

Boston Bruins center Pavel Zacha, 28, has been a frequent subject of trade chatter, linked to teams needing an experienced second-line center, including the Montreal Canadiens. Canadiens GM Kent Hughes, Zacha's former agent, reportedly "adores" him, and the Canadiens are not on Zacha's eight-team no-trade list, having discussed trade options last summer. Zacha is signed through next season with an affordable $4.75 million average annual value. Despite the speculation, the Bruins currently have no intention of parting with Zacha, especially given their recent five-game win streak, which has propelled them near the top of the Eastern Conference standings, cooling any immediate sell-mode considerations.
