Kirill Marchenko Extends Point Streak with Shorthanded Goal for Blue Jackets

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Kirill Marchenko continued his impressive run, scoring the team's only goal in their loss to the Calgary Flames. Marchenko's sixth goal of the season was a shorthanded effort, assisted by Boone Jenner, which he scored by streaking down the center of the ice. This goal marked the Blue Jackets' first shortie of the season and extended Marchenko's personal points streak to six consecutive games. He is currently maintaining a point-per-game pace, highlighting his offensive impact despite the team's defeat.
