Los Angeles Kings prospect Jan Chovan, playing for the Sudbury Wolves, was the recipient of a reckless slash to the back of his head by Kitchener Rangers defenseman Jacob Xu during a game on October 31st, 2025. Despite the dangerous stick incident, Chovan demonstrated resilience, participating in the remainder of the game without issue.
