Oliver Moore Called Up by Blackhawks, Set for First NHL Stint This Season
The Chicago Blackhawks have called up Oliver Moore from the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, marking his first NHL stint this season. The move comes as Jason Dickinson has been placed on injured reserve, retroactive to October 30th. Moore has had a strong start in the AHL, leading all rookies with 6 goals and totaling 9 points in 9 games, building on a successful training camp where he focused on improving his shot. Known for his speed and tenacity, Moore's offensive skills are now catching up to his physical attributes. He previously played 9 NHL games at the end of last season, recording four assists, and is still seeking his first career NHL goal. Moore is available to play Monday night against the Seattle Kraken, making the Blackhawks an even faster team. Landon Slaggert has been sent down to AHL Rockford.
