Mitch Marner Scores First Two Goals as a Golden Knight in Dominant 6-1 Win

Mitch Marner made a significant impact for the Vegas Golden Knights on October 19, 2025, scoring his first two goals as a Knight in a commanding 6-1 victory over the Calgary Flames. Marner opened the scoring just 46 seconds into the game, immediately energizing the home crowd. He later extended Vegas' lead to four goals with a crafty forehand-backhand deke on the power play, beating Flames netminder Dustin Wolf. Marner, who enjoys the atmosphere at T-Mobile Arena, now has eight points on the season, including six assists from the first five games, and emphasizes finding open ice for Jack Eichel on the "fun" power play.
