Nathan MacKinnon's Two-Goal Performance Powers Avalanche to 4-1 Victory Over Bruins

Nathan MacKinnon delivered a standout performance, scoring two goals to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins on October 19, 2025. MacKinnon initiated the scoring for the Avalanche, tying the game at 1-1 with a backhand shot after David Pastrnak's turnover. He later extended Colorado's lead to 3-1 in the second period, blasting a pass from Artturi Lehkonen past Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman, who was partially screened. Despite being called for tripping Fraser Minten, a penalty the Avalanche successfully killed, MacKinnon's offensive output secured two valuable points for his team.
