Nathan MacKinnon's Two Goals Propel Avalanche to Third Consecutive Victory

Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon was instrumental in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Boston Bruins on October 19, 2025, scoring two goals to extend the Avalanche's winning streak to three games. MacKinnon quickly responded after the Bruins opened the scoring, converting a backhander past goaltender Jeremy Swayman following a turnover forced by Artturi Lehkonen. His offensive output contributed to the Avalanche's impressive 5-0-1 start to the season. The team's defensive performance has also seen a significant improvement, allowing only nine goals through six games, a stark contrast to the eight goals conceded on opening night last season. The Avalanche will next face the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday.
