Leon Draisaitl Challenges Red Wings' Rookies, Scores in Oilers Loss

Edmonton Oilers star Leon Draisaitl, along with Connor McDavid, is a formidable opponent for the Detroit Red Wings' young roster. Red Wings head coach Todd McLellan, Draisaitl's former coach, is preparing his team for the "daunting task" of facing two of the world's best players, stressing that his rookies must not play tentatively. In their recent 4-2 loss to the Red Wings, Draisaitl contributed offensively by scoring a goal for the Oilers. His presence continues to be a significant test for opposing teams, particularly for developing players learning to compete at the NHL level.
