Tyler Shough's Lack of Rushing Kept Him as a QB2 in Week 7

Shough completed 30 of 38 passes (78.9%) for 278 yards with a TD and an INT in the 16-10 loss. He added 3 carries for 7 yards and finished as QB15 for the week. The Saints ran 11 personnel on 85% of his 41 dropbacks and relied almost entirely on the pass. Their RBs managed just 11 yards on 14 carries against the Steelers’ run defense. That pushed Shough toward short throws, with Alvin Kamara and Kendre Miller combining for 10 of the team’s 34 targets. Chris Olave led the way with 10 targets, followed by Kamara (7) and Devaughn Vele (5).
